The GAP is a group of major Sydney based arts organisations and venues working towards greener live performance.
Formed in January 2012 the core group of companies have come together to share their knowledge and experience and to collaborate on initiatives for sustainable performance practice. We are currently working on a series of workshops to engage and up-skill set, lighting and costume designers and exploring resource management by developing innovative ways to reuse, repurpose and recycle materials. The Green Arts Project will build networks and work with national and international arts companies to challenge the way we experience sustainable live performance. The project is supported and facilitated by the NSW Office of Environment & Heritage. |
